- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
Registration as required by this Act shall consist of a statement in writing signed by the person giving the information that is required by the Illinois State Police, which may include the fingerprints and must include a current photograph of the person, to be updated annually. The registration information must include whether the person is a violent offender against youth. Within 3 days, the registering law enforcement agency shall forward any required information to the Illinois State Police. The registering law enforcement agency shall enter the information into the Law Enforcement Agencies Data System (LEADS) as provided in Sections 6 and 7 of the Intergovernmental Missing Child Recovery Act of 1984.
