Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 735 ILCS 5/8-1201
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
Printed copies of schedules, classifications and tariffs of rates, fares and charges, and supplements to any such schedules, classifications and tariffs filed with the Interstate Commerce Commission, which show respectively an Interstate Commerce Commission number, which may be stated in abbreviated form, as I.C.C. No. –, and an effective date, shall be presumed to be correct copies of the original schedules, classifications, tariffs and supplements on file with the Interstate Commerce Commission, and shall be received as good and sufficient evidence, without certification, in any court of this State to prove such schedules, classifications, tariffs and supplements.
