Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 735 ILCS 5/8-1206

sworn: shall be construed to include the word "affirmed. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.12

Any such papers, entries, records and ordinances may be proved by copies examined and sworn to by credible witnesses.
