Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 765 ILCS 905/14
- Heretofore: means any time previous to the day on which the statute takes effect; and the word "hereafter" at any time after such day. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.17
- Personal property: All property that is not real property.
“An Act to revise the law in relation to mortgages of real and personal property and to validate certain transactions, including filings or recordings of mortgages of personal property, and affidavits of extension or renewal thereof, heretofore made or occurring,” approved March 26, 1874, as amended, is repealed.
