- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
The original, or copy of such claim for lien filed as aforesaid certified by the recorder, shall be received in evidence in any proceeding taken to foreclose the lien herein provided for, of the fact that such claim for lien was received and filed according to the endorsement of the recorder thereon.
