- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
If any provision of this Act or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held unconstitutional, the remainder of the Act and the application of such provision to other persons and circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
