An employer seeking or obtaining a workplace protection restraining order shall comply with any federal or State law to which it is subject, including any provision under the Victims’ Economic Security and Safety Act and the Illinois Human Rights Act, regarding employee protections and the rights of the employee who has suffered the violence.
