Indiana Code 12-11-14-10.5. Treasurer of state administers, manages, and directs the affairs of the board

Sec. 10.5. The treasurer of state, as chairperson of the board, shall administer, manage, and direct the affairs of the board under the policies and direction of the board. In carrying out these duties, the chairperson may do the following:
(A) the employment of attorneys, consultants, employees, and agents that may be necessary to assist the chairperson in carrying out the duties; and
(1) Approve all accounts for salaries and allowable expenses of the board, including:

- authority: refers to the achieving a better life experience (ABLE) authority created by section 9 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 12-11-14-2
- board: refers to the ABLE board of the authority established by section 10 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 12-11-14-3
(B) the setting of compensation of persons described in clause (A).
(2) Approve all expenses incidental to the operation of the authority.
(3) Perform those duties and functions that are delegated to the chairperson by the board or that are necessary to carry out the duties of the chairperson under this chapter.
