Terms Used In Indiana Code 12-15-22-2
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
Sec. 2. A provider may appeal a sanction under section 1 of this chapter under rules concerning appeal that are adopted by the secretary under IC 4-22-2.
