Terms Used In Indiana Code 12-20-15-1
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
Sec. 1. If an applicant for or recipient of township assistance is not satisfied with the decision of the township trustee, as administrator of township assistance, the applicant or recipient may appeal to the board of commissioners.
