Sec. 5. “Advocate”, for purposes of IC 12-26, refers to a person who:
(2) is a guardian ad litem (as defined in IC 31-9-2-50).
(1) is a court appointed special advocate (as defined in IC 31-9-2-28); or

- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
