Sec. 265.8. For purposes of this chapter and IC 13-18-22:
(A) of whether a wetland exists on an area of land; and
(1) “wetlands delineation” or “delineation” means a technical assessment:

- Property: includes personal and real property. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
- United States: includes the District of Columbia and the commonwealths, possessions, states in free association with the United States, and the territories. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
(B) if so, of the type and quality of the wetland based on the presence or absence of wetlands characteristics, as determined consistently with the Wetlands Delineation Manual, Technical Report Y-87-1 of the United States Army Corps of Engineers; and
(2) “delineated” describes property that has undergone wetlands delineation.
