Indiana Code 14-28-1-10. Title to property

Sec. 10. The title to all land, easements, flood easements, or other interest in land or other property or rights acquired by the commission must be:

(1) approved by the attorney general; and

Attorney: includes a counselor or other person authorized to appear and represent a party in an action or special proceeding. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
Property: includes personal and real property. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5

(2) taken in the name of the state of Indiana.
