Indiana Code 14-29-7-11. Officers

Sec. 11. (a) At the first meeting of a river commission, the river commission shall select the following:

(1) A chairman from the membership.

river: means that part of a body of flowing water and adjacent land that is the subject of a river commission established under this chapter. See Indiana Code 14-29-7-2
Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5

(2) Other officers that the river commission determines.

(b) The officers serve for terms of one (1) year.
