Sec. 15. A child admitted to the home may not be permanently removed from the home and placed elsewhere without the express approval of the:

(1) parent or parents who;

Terms Used In Indiana Code 16-33-4-15

  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
  • home: refers to the Indiana Soldiers' and Sailors' Children's Home established by this chapter. See Indiana Code 16-33-4-3
(2) guardian who;

(3) relative who; or

(4) department of child services that;

applied for admission of the child to the home.
