Sec. 8.6. (a) Subject to subsections (b) and (c), a member of a committee serves a two (2) year term that expires on June 30 of an odd-numbered year. A member may be reappointed to serve successive terms.

Terms Used In Indiana Code 2-5-1.2-8.6

  • Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
  • Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
     (b) A member of a committee serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority.

     (c) A member of a committee established by statute in an even-numbered year serves a one (1) year term that expires on June 30 of the following year.
