Indiana Code 20-18-2-12. “Nonpublic school”

Sec. 12. (a) “Nonpublic school” means a school that is not maintained by a school corporation.

Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

(b) The term includes a private school or parochial school.
