Indiana Code 20-23-4-6. “Party”

Sec. 6. As used in this chapter, “party” includes:

(1) a person;

Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

(2) a firm;

(3) a limited liability company;

(4) a corporation;

(5) an association; or

(6) a municipality;

interested in proceedings under this chapter.
