(1) a transcript showing the acts and resolutions related to the school corporation‘s formation; and
Terms Used In Indiana Code 20-23-8-22
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- plan: means the manner in which the governing body of a school corporation is constituted, including the number, qualifications, length of terms, manner, and time of selection, either by appointment or by election of the members of the governing body. See Indiana Code 20-23-8-4
- school corporation: means a local public school corporation established under the laws of Indiana. See Indiana Code 20-23-8-5
- Transcript: A written, word-for-word record of what was said, either in a proceeding such as a trial or during some other conversation, as in a transcript of a hearing or oral deposition.
- Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
(b) The transcript or description under subsection (a) shall be filed not more than sixty (60) days after the school corporation’s creation or the school corporation’s adoption of a new plan.
(c) A school corporation shall file with the secretary of education before August 1 of each year a list of names and addresses of:
(1) members of its governing body; and
(2) the school corporation’s officers along with the expiration of the officer’s respective terms.
(d) A school corporation shall file any change to a list under subsection (c) not later than thirty (30) days after the change occurs.
