Indiana Code 20-33-2-44. Penalty

Sec. 44. (a) This section does not apply to section 18 or 47 of this chapter.

Under the Indiana Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:

Class	Prison	Fine
Class B misdemeanor	up to 180 days	up to $1,000

(b) Except as otherwise provided, a person who knowingly violates this chapter commits a Class B misdemeanor.
