Sec. 2. As used in this chapter, “governing authority” refers to the:
(2) organizer of a charter school.
(1) governing body of a school corporation; or

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- school: refers to a public school, including a charter school. See Indiana Code 20-33-2.5-3
