Sec. 1.5. “Career scholarship student” means an individual who:
(2) is at least five (5) years of age and less than twenty-two (22) years of age on the date in the school year specified in IC 20-33-2-7; and
(1) has legal settlement in Indiana;

- Settlement: Parties to a lawsuit resolve their difference without having a trial. Settlements often involve the payment of compensation by one party in satisfaction of the other party's claims.
- Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
(3) is enrolled in grade 10, 11, or 12 in Indiana.
