Sec. 2. The board of trustees must be persons in law capable of:
(1) suing and being sued;
(2) pleading and being impleaded;
(3) answering and being answered unto; and
(4) defending and being defended, in all courts and places, in all manner of actions, suits, complaints, matters, and causes.
