- fund: refers to the Indiana University permanent endowment fund in the custody of the treasurer of state. See Indiana Code 21-7-14-2
Sec. 9. The state comptroller shall loan as much of the fund as is not at any time absorbed by the nonnegotiable bonds of the state issued under this chapter at six percent (6%) interest, payable annually in advance in real estate security. Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, in making loans and disbursing the interest collected, the treasurer of state and the state comptroller are governed by the law in force regulating the manner of making loans of the university funds and paying out interest collected.
