Sec. 2. As used in this chapter, “employee” means an individual who works for an employer on a full-time or part-time basis, either paid or unpaid. The term includes:
(2) a subcontractor; and
(1) an independent contractor;

- employer: means a sole proprietor, corporation, partnership, limited liability company, or other entity with one (1) or more employees. See Indiana Code 22-5-4.6-3
(3) a student who works as a trainee or an intern.
