Terms Used In Indiana Code 22-9-2-8

  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
   Sec. 8. It shall be an unfair employment practice for any employer to discharge an employee because he has furnished evidence in connection with a complaint under this chapter.
