Terms Used In Indiana Code 23-1.3-4-1
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Sec. 1. A benefit corporation shall have a purpose of creating general public benefit. The purpose under this section is in addition to a benefit corporation’s purpose under IC 23-1-21-2.
