- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Sec. 4. The directors of a professional corporation and all the officers other than the secretary and the treasurer must be qualified persons with respect to the corporation.
