Terms Used In Indiana Code 23-14-48-6

  • Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
  • Property: includes personal and real property. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
   Sec. 6. A perpetual care fund may be increased by adding to the fund surplus money or property that the cemetery receives by will, deed, gift, or otherwise.
