- Litigation: A case, controversy, or lawsuit. Participants (plaintiffs and defendants) in lawsuits are called litigants.
Sec. 2. A commercial litigation financier may not provide funding to a commercial litigation financing agreement that is directly or indirectly financed by a foreign entity of concern.
