Sec. 4. As used in this chapter, “protected consumer” means an individual who is:
(2) an incapacitated person (as defined in IC 29-3-1-7.5) for whom a court has appointed a guardian.
(1) less than sixteen (16) years of age; or

- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
