Terms Used In Indiana Code 25-19-1-17

  • administrator in training: means an individual who:

    Indiana Code 25-19-1-1

  • board: refers to the Indiana state board of health facility administrators. See Indiana Code 25-19-1-1
  • health facility administrator: means a natural person who administers, manages, supervises, or is in general administrative charge of a licensed health facility whether such individual has an ownership interest in the health facility and whether the person's functions and duties are shared with one (1) or more individuals. See Indiana Code 25-19-1-1
  • student intern: refers to an individual who is:

     (b) An administrator in training or student intern may take a specialized course that:

(1) is approved by the board as described in section 18 of this chapter;

(2) includes instruction and training on:

(A) standards of competent practice;

(B) facility administration and management;

(C) housekeeping and laundry;

(D) nursing;

(E) dietary needs of residents;

(F) facility related activities;

(G) business office management; and

(H) facility admission and marketing; and

(3) may include instruction and training on other subjects.
