corporation, a
partnership, or other legal entity.

Terms Used In Indiana Code 25-28.5-1-39
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- Person: means a natural person, except in the case of a plumbing contractor, in which case it may mean the partners or members of a partnership, limited partnership, or any form of unincorporated enterprise, owned by two (2) or more persons, and as applied to "corporation" in addition to the corporate entity means the officers or directors and employees thereof. - Plumbing: means the practice of and the materials and fixtures used in the installation, maintenance, extension, and alteration of all piping, fixtures, appliances, and appurtenances in connection with any of the following:

(b) If a person submits a written competitive bid for a project involving the:
(1) alteration;
(2) construction;
(3) conversion;
(4) improvement;
(5) modernization;
(6) rehabilitation;
(7) remodeling;
(8) renovation;
(9) repair; or
(10) replacement of plumbing;
and that bid is not accepted because another person knowingly violated this chapter, a person described in subsection (c) may bring a civil action to enjoin the person who violated this chapter from performing any activity under the competitive bid.
(c) The following persons may bring an action for injunctive relief under subsection (b):
(1) The person who did not receive the bid.
(2) An organization or association that represents plumbers.
