- Clerk: means the clerk of the court or a person authorized to perform the clerk's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
Sec. 7. Not later than 6 p.m. on election day each circuit court clerk, or an agent of the clerk, shall visit the appropriate post office to accept delivery of absentee envelopes.
