Sec. 9. An election officer who knowingly:

(1) discloses to a person the name of a candidate for whom a voter has voted or how a voter voted on a public question; or

Under the Indiana Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:Class | Prison | Fine |

(2) does any electioneering on election day;
commits a Class A misdemeanor.
