Sec. 6.5. If the happening of an event, including:
(2) divorce;
(1) marriage;
Terms Used In Indiana Code 30-4-3-6.5
- Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
- Trustee: has the meaning set forth in IC 30-2-14-13. See Indiana Code 30-4-1-2
(3) performance of educational requirements; or
(4) death;
affects the administration or distribution of a trust, a trustee who has exercised reasonable care to ascertain the happening of the event is not liable for a loss resulting from the trustee‘s lack of knowledge.
