Terms Used In Indiana Code 31-37-6-9

  • Bail: Security given for the release of a criminal defendant or witness from legal custody (usually in the form of money) to secure his/her appearance on the day and time appointed.
   Sec. 9. A child may not be released on bail except as provided by IC 31-30-3.
