Sec. 31. (a) The
probate court shall hear and determine questions and issue appropriate orders concerning the determination of the
beneficiary who is entitled to receive a transfer on death transfer and the proper share of each beneficiary.

- Beneficiary: A person who is entitled to receive the benefits or proceeds of a will, trust, insurance policy, retirement plan, annuity, or other contract. Source: OCC

(1) obtain the distribution of any money or property from a transferring entity; or
