- Beneficiary: A person who is entitled to receive the benefits or proceeds of a will, trust, insurance policy, retirement plan, annuity, or other contract. Source: OCC
Sec. 5. A disclaimer of an interest created by a beneficiary designation made before the time the designation becomes irrevocable must be delivered to the person making the beneficiary designation.
