Sec. 2. A court may not appoint:
(2) an attorney representing a party; or
(1) a party;

- Attorney: includes a counselor or other person authorized to appear and represent a party in an action or special proceeding. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
(3) another person interested in an action;
as a receiver in that action.
