Sec. 16. The rights recognized under this chapter are property rights, freely transferable and descendible, in whole or in part, by the following:

Terms Used In Indiana Code 32-36-1-16

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
  • Intestate: Dying without leaving a will.
  • personality: means a living or deceased natural person whose:
