Indiana Code 33-23-8-4. Conviction notice; insurance fraud or an offense that relates to insurance

Sec. 4. If a practitioner:

(1) violates IC 35-43-5-4.7 (insurance fraud); or

Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
governmental body: means an agency, a board, or a commission of the legislative, executive, or judicial branch of state government. See Indiana Code 33-23-8-1
license: means an occupational or a professional license, registration, permit, or certificate issued by a governmental body. See Indiana Code 33-23-8-2

(2) is convicted under IC 35-43-5-4 of an offense that relates to insurance (including an attempt or a conspiracy);

the sentencing court shall provide notice of the conviction to each governmental body that has issued a license to the practitioner.
