Sec. 2. (a) The tax court may employ:
(2) a clerk;
(1) a bailiff;
Terms Used In Indiana Code 33-26-4-2
- Bailiff: a court officer who enforces the rules of behavior in courtrooms.
- Clerk: means the clerk of the court or a person authorized to perform the clerk's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
- Reporter: Makes a record of court proceedings and prepares a transcript, and also publishes the court's opinions or decisions (in the courts of appeals).
(3) a reporter;
(4) a clerical assistant; or
(5) any other personnel that the court needs to perform its duties.
(b) The clerk of the supreme court shall serve as the clerk of the tax court.
