Sec. 10.1. (a) Each judge of a superior court shall appoint a court reporter, whose duties, salary, and term shall be regulated in the same manner as the court reporter of circuit courts.

Terms Used In Indiana Code 33-33-10-10.1

  • Court reporter: A person who makes a word-for-word record of what is said in court and produces a transcript of the proceedings upon request.
  • Reporter: Makes a record of court proceedings and prepares a transcript, and also publishes the court's opinions or decisions (in the courts of appeals).
     (b) This section expires January 1, 2025.
