Sec. 8.1. (a) The clerk, under the direction of a judge of the superior court, shall provide order books, judgment dockets, execution dockets, fee books, and such other books, papers, and records as are necessary for that court.

Terms Used In Indiana Code 33-33-10-8.1

  • Clerk: means the clerk of the court or a person authorized to perform the clerk's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
  • Judgment: means all final orders, decrees, and determinations in an action and all orders upon which executions may issue. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
     (b) All books, papers, and proceedings of each court shall be kept distinct and separate from those of other courts, and the records of all civil cases separate and apart from the records of juvenile matters.

     (c) This section expires January 1, 2025.
