Terms Used In Indiana Code 33-36-3-3
- Clerk: means the clerk of the court or a person authorized to perform the clerk's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
Sec. 3. If a person charged with a violation wants to exercise the right to trial, the person shall appear before the violations clerk and deny the violation or enter a written denial with the clerk.
