Terms Used In Indiana Code 33-37-5-17

  • clerk: refers to any of the following:

    Indiana Code 33-37-1-2

  • Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.
     (b) In each action in which prosecution is deferred, the clerk shall collect from the defendant:

(1) a deferred prosecution fee of one hundred twenty dollars ($120) for court costs; and

(2) any applicable user or program fees described under IC 33-39-1-8(f) or IC 33-39-1-8(h).
