Sec. 22. “Person” means:
(2) an association;
(1) an agency;
Terms Used In Indiana Code 33-42-0.5-22
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
(3) a business trust;
(4) a corporation;
(5) an estate;
(6) an individual;
(7) an instrumentality;
(8) a joint venture;
(9) a limited liability company;
(10) a partnership;
(11) a public corporation;
(12) a trust;
(13) a statutory trust;
(14) any other legal or commercial entity; or
(15) any local or state government:
(A) agency; or
(B) instrumentality.
