Terms Used In Indiana Code 34-30-2.1-97

  • Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
  • minor: means a person less than eighteen (18) years of age. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
   Sec. 97. IC 9-24-9-4.1 (Concerning liability of a state or local government agency, foster parent, or entity providing services to a minor for costs and damages associated with the minor’s application for a driver’s license or permit or the operation of a motor vehicle).
