Sec. 1. (a) A copy of any foreign
judgment authenticated in accordance with
28 U.S.C. § 1963 or the statutes of this state may be filed in the office of the
clerk of any court of record in a county in Indiana.

Terms Used In Indiana Code 34-54-11-1
- Clerk: means the clerk of the court or a person authorized to perform the clerk's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
- Judgment: means all final orders, decrees, and determinations in an action and all orders upon which executions may issue. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
(c) A foreign judgment filed under subsection (a) has the same effect and is subject to the same procedures, defenses, and proceedings for reopening, vacating, or staying as a judgment entered by an Indiana court.
